Innovating digital arts

We innovated the knowledge base and the equipment at Academy of Fine Arts and Design to better implement our study program Digital arts. The project was funded by KEGA agency in years 2021-2022.

Equipment innovations

Our studio was improved by addition of several powerful computers, VR headsets, touchscreens and other equipment for our students and our exhibitions.

Digital Arts Meetup

We hosted a networking event for students and teachers from higher education institutions related to digital arts (AFAD, VŠMU, FMPH UK, FIIT STU) with experts and professionals from the creative domain (Slovak National Gallery, Slovak Design Center, Pixel Federation, Slovak Game Developers Association, Mladý pes, Biela noc, and others )

Exhibition

The culmination of the project was the exhibition in Kunsthalle Bratislava called Neuroworm and The Machines of Escape. A selection of student works created during the course of the project were exhibited.
