Summer inspection 2025
Inspection (or “prieskum” in Slovak) is a public exhibition of students’ works at the end of semester. All art studios at AFAD are open to public during a weekend and everybody is invited to “inspect” our studios and our students’ artworks.
The summer semester of 2025 was unusual. A large part of the student body worked on joint projects in the EduPo project – Generating Czech poetry in an educative and multimedia environment. Freshmen and freshwomen students created digitally interactive re-imaginations of book illustrations and video clips from found footage in a preparatory course. Master’s students prepared their own projects thematically related to their master thesis.
The semester therefore did not have a single central theme, which resulted in a rich mixture of creative works.
